Perkins Precision Now Offers High Energy Beam Splitter Cubes (2015)   (0000-00-00)
Longmont, CO, November 23, 2015 – Perkins Precision Developments (PPD) is pleased to announce that they are now able to offer adhesive-free, precision beamsplitter cubes for high power laser applications in the visible and near-infrared.

PPD recently developed an adhesive free optical assembly process as an alternative to existing epoxy based techniques specifically for those photonics applications where outgassing and laser damage threshold are primary concerns. Utilizing this process along with their ion-beam-sputtering (IBS) coating capability and advanced manufacturing, PPD is now able to offer high-precision polarizing and non-polarizing prism assemblies with high transmission, high extinction ratio and λ/10 wavefront quality.

PPD’s custom high-energy beam splitter cubes are currently available for single and narrow-band laser wavelengths from 355nm to 2000nm and in sizes from 3 x 3 mm3 to 15 x 15 mm3.
